Peace to all:
While using a Systems Utility Duplicate Files tool, I accidentally deleted some important start up files. I can't get into Safe Mode to try to run System Restore using F8 because the keyboard goes dead. When I realized my error, I tried to cancel the duplicate file deleting operation, but the system froze for a while then started to work. All appeared to be OK so I thought nothing had been deleted because there was no increase in hard drive space. The boot problem started when I tried to restart. There is no Original Startup CD available to me. Thanks in advance for Any help with this problem.

Hello -
Do you still have the use of a mouse / pointer to start with - You only mention your keyboard -

Please start with these 2 articles - First Safe mode without a Keyboard >> Accessing safe mode option without the F8 key
>> Next trying to run the System Restore once in Safe Mode To run System Restore in safe mode : From M/soft

Thank You -
