Hello!
I use Windows 7 and have problems with svchost processes for some time. They reach 100% at the system start or when connect/disconnect to internet and occupy the processor for one hour or so. They also reach max at some times during work.

I made a mistake and used some advices found in this thread:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic435814.html

because I thought it's the same problem. I used TDSSKiller, ESET Online Scanner, CCleaner and maybe something else.

Later on I sought help on different forum and used OTL, RSIT, MBAM, AdwCleaner, USBFix. I was told to remove Microsoft Security Essentials.
Unfortunately no one could help me.

I was also trying to install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 using Windows Update and by downloading the installation file. In both cases after reaching 70% of installation progress there was an installation failure, reverting changes and ERROR_INSTAL_FAILURE(0x80070643) message.

Does anyone can help?

Do you still have the SVCHOST issue?

Download system readiness tool

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20858

Run it and after scan finishes restart the PC

Your system readiness tool log should be here

C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log

Post the contents of the log

I've used Windows repair tool.
After restart I installed system readiness tool one more time and installation was successful again, but CheckSUR.log looks still the same.
