Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC
Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
8.00 GB RAM
I have run:
Spybot S&D, Malwarebytes
After no-go, I have reformatted my computer.

Now what is happening is that browser windows pop up on their own at strange times. It happens more prominently when I open up a new program (Second Life was my test.)
Sometimes it goes crazy with up to 30 or more windows opening, and if I leave the window open to the front it will just keep reloading the default home page.
This happens also in both networked and non networked safe modes.
I just reformatted my computer and it's happening again, and I'm rerunning malwarebytes as I type this.
I'm hoping somebody here can find something I'm missing. Thank you in advance!

EDIT: I'm beginning to think this is a hardware problem, however if anybody has any insight it would be great! We uninstalled windows, reinstalled it from backup discs.
