Hello everyone,

I keep having problems with all of my web browsers and think it might be because of some of the add-ons may be interfering with each other or are slowing the page load up times and thus making the browser crash or they cause one of the other programs to crash because of inteference or slow load up times. I have disabled most of my add-ons execpt a few of them but the troubles continue. There are a few add-ons that I do not know what they do nor what they are for, and if it is safe to disable them.

The ones I am not sure about are:

1) {60AFE1CD-9BA1-47AC-929C-484FBA08DF62}

2) {C7112EF1-D5B6-421D-8F58-8FA63AB144F8}

Any information about these add ons that anyone can provide will be approciated.

Thank you.

Both of them are related to Winferno Security Scan. I think you should remove these addons.

Hello,

I have Microsoft Security Essentials, but no winferno. So I will take you advice and remove them immediately. Unless it is part of some other software program.

Thanks.

PS. I checked in the Internet Explorer - Manage add-ons and it only shows "disable" and will not let me "remove" the add-ons. So they must be part of one of the other security programs or part of one of the Windows updates. Should I disable them or keep them enabled?

See this video for removing addons in IE :

Also download Autoruns http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and check what entries you find in Internet Explorer section.

EDIT: I suggest that you disable them.

Additional question : Does it happen on all browsers or just IE?

Download SecurityCheck.exe from Here

. Run SecurityCheck and follow the instruction from inside the code box.
. When the scan is finished, a notepad will automatically open as check.txt
Please copy and paste the contents here on your next reply.

Hello,

Sorry I have taken so long to get back to you on this problem. I had knee surgery in January and have been busy getting clearances for Weight Loss surgery and still having problems with my back.

I thought I had fixed the problem with these items listed above, until I went to check to see what toolbars are installed. That is when I noticed that these 2 Internet Add-ons where still around! I thought I disabled them, but they were turned back on!   I do not know if that happened when I reset Internet Explorer or during one of the downloads or updates I had to do.   I have been having other problems with my computer recently and do not know if it is related in any way or not.

Here is the Log from the SecurityCheck scan:

Just a note: I did a defrag of my Hard drive Yesterday/Last Night July 14, 2013.  I also have uninstalled some programs that was recommended that I uninstall. Here iss a list of the programs that was recommended that I uninstall and the ones underlined are the ones I have uninstalled:

1 - Uninstall these :

Acrobat.com (Version: 2.0.0)

AOL Uninstaller (Choose which Products to Remove)

ASPCA Reminder by We-Care.com v4.1.21.1 (Version: 4.1.21.1)

Bing Bar (Version: 7.0.822.0)

Consumer Complete Care Services Agreement (Version: 1.10.0000)

Coupon Printer for Windows (Version: 4.0)

Coupon Printer for Windows (Version: 5.0.0.0)

DriverScanner (Version: 4.0.10.0)

ESET Online Scanner v3

Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer (Version: 4.0.0.002)

iMesh (Version: 10.0.0.94309)

Internet Service Offers Launcher (Version: 1.00.0000)

PickemFirst Toolbar (Remove Toolbar Only)

Search Protect by conduit (Version: 1.4.1.12)

Spybot - Search & Destroy (Version: 1.6.2)

SpywareBlaster 5.0 (Version: 5.0.0)

System Checkup 3.4 (Version: 3.4.0.47)

System Requirements Lab

The Weather Channel App

Yahoo! Toolbar

I believe I have uninstalled both COupon Printers, but not sure. Not sure if Google Toolbar is installed or not, I may have already uninstalled it.  The others I use often except the AOL one, I tried to uninstall it but it wanted to uninstall another program I use by AOL

Hope this helps.

Please remove Spybot as it is not recommended nowadays and could be one of the causes of browser loading problems.

Is it because of the "TeaTimer" function in Spybot? Because I had problems before because of the "TeaTimer" function, but now that is disabled/turned off.

When I uninstall Spybot, what should I use instead of it?  Should I even use anything in its place?

Spywareblaster is the currently known host, spyware and activeX protection software today.
