problem in my hard drive!!!

I am using windows 7 ultimate. whenever i open any folder in my hard drive, my computer gets hang and is closed by itself. it shows windows exploere has stopped working.. so restart it. I have already formated my D and E drive . But problem still persist, can any one suggest me any solution.

Open command prompt

Run "chkdsk /r"

Run "sfc /scannow"

The first checks for any bad sectors on the hard drive and attempts to recover them. The second checks for any corrupt/missing Windows files and attempts to repair them.
