I am new here  my name is Rich aka PC rage so, please take it easy on me, LOL

I was doing an online search for malware removal & I saw a P C World link that highly recommended bleepingcomputer.com :bananas:

pretty much a novice when it comes to PCs in general but I try

got a malicious malware on my Toshiba lap top yesterday :killcomp: that runs Windows 7 so, will be posting in that forum for info on that

guess it's a good thing I kept this older COMPAQ  lap top around because my Toshiba is currently trashed, and hopefully can be saved

Glad 2 B here & Happy Tuesday :exclame:

Sorry to read your computer got infected, but happy to see that you have a "spare."
I suggest posting about the infection, with as much information about what is happening as you can, in the Am I Infected? Forum rather than in the W7 forum. I am sure our Members can help you get rid of the malware and save your Toshiba.
Welcome to BC!
Regards,
John

Hi John & thanks for the welcome

I was just reading in the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs Forum & thought maybe I should post there, instead of the Windows 7 forum.

I see you beat me to the punch & your suggestion is certainly welcome, and very much appreciated

I'm liking this place already :bananas:

EDIT: John, did a bit of search over @ the Am I Infected? Forum, as you suggested & I found this http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic470453.html which is what my Toshiba got hit with yesterday.

I will try the recommended fix :warrior:

Thanks again for recommending that particular forum :thumbup2:
