My computer just stops on the "Starting Windows" screen.
Sony VAIO VGN-250E

Here's what happened:
I ran WAT Fix(Activator thing) but then I ended the process. So I ran another instance of WAT fix. Then it automatically restarted my computer.
Then an error saying that ntkrnlmp.exe is corrupt or missing kernels comes up.
So I run startup repair from my windows 7 repairs cd and it repairs the ntkrnlmp.exe.
It fixes it.

But today, I was just browsing the web and the computer just turns off like randomly. So, I start it back up but not it says Windows has failed to startup.
I tried putting in the Windows 7 Recovery Disk, but it cant even get past the Loading Screen with the bars on it.
I tried Hiren's Boot CD and load up Mini Windows XP and that can't even get past the Loading Screen.
So I try using PartedMagic from the Hiren's BootCD but that's the only thing that is able to boot up on my laptop.
Pretty much, I can only use a linux off a bootCD right now.

WAT Fix is a tool designed to bypass the Windows activation process, per http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/26994-WAT-Fix-Fix-your-activation-problems .

From the forum rules:

"No subject matter will be allowed whose purpose is to defeat existing copyright or security measures. If a user persists and/or the activity is obviously illegal the staff reserves the right to remove such content and/or ban the user. This would also mean encouraging the use or continued use of pirated software is not permitted, and subject to the same consequences."

My interpretation is that your use of this tool...constitutes a clear violation of the above enunciated forum policy.

If you have any questions about this matter, please contact me via PM.
