Hey my name is Heather and obviously, I didn't know exactly what I was doing. I know, it is my fault completely.. My computer was so infected and super slow so I looked up on google to try to fix the 404 error on certain websites and someone suggested Combofix to me. I didn't realize how serious it was until after everything was already deleted :(. My volume doesn't even work now. Somehow I got my web browser to come up. Anyway, without anyone making fun of me or saying mean things, I would just like some help :( I have learned my lesson from all of this. Thanks!

Hi Heather,

how do you know your files are gone? Can you open explorer and browse through the folders and there are no files in those folders? Or do you not have the folders anymore?

I will request that your thread is moved to the malware area, so that we can start working on removing the infection and restoring your files (if possible. But I'm pretty sure it will be possible :))

regards myrti
