Hello. I posted a thread this morning on a problem I had with backingup to an external harddrive.

This evening, however, my documents folder was in my userprofile for a while, now it has disappeared. What could cause this? Thanks.

Update:

This morning when I started the computer I received the message "Your computer will not start." Windows then repaired the problem and the computer started.

The internet is working yet the wireless icon in the lower right has a bright red x through it.

Norton said it was not working but then said it fixed the problem.

Outlook would not start because it could not find the folders. I followed its prompt and found my documents file and the Outlook folder where the various Outlook files are but then the documents folder disappeared again and is not there.

Should I just copy the documents folder from the backup drive to my user profile on the C drive?

Thanks. Help is very much appreciated.
