We just bought a new digital camcorder, and while trying to install the software that came with it, I got this error message:

C:\windows\system32\autoexec.int. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and MS Window applications.

I got this same message yesterday while trying to install Printmaster. Can you help or point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

It's not an uncommon problem. Download and run the file XP_Fix.exe from here.

Thanks for the quick reply! I downloaded, and I'm going to try, now, to reinstall those two programs!

WHEW! Good to know it's a common problem!
