Not sure how I got it, but I got the stupid FBI warning Moneypak virus. I was going to follow the steps in other posts but they all seem to need a log posted so I started a new topic. I am trying to work on a paper for one of my PhD classes and this virus has its filthy grip on me. HELLLLPP!!

I also have this problem on my Dell Windows XP Professional. I had no luck with anything so I installed an old edition of Windows Home. At least now I have a computer but without anything like Internet access. I can't enter any safe mode under Professional because it ends up with the blue screen of death. I can enter Windows Home normally and in safe mode - although those really don't help me with anything.

I've found plenty of help online for getting rid of the FBI virus but they all involve entering in safe mode...which I cannot do. So any help for me too would be appreciated!
