Hello everybody, please help me,I think something has got into my machine.

I've got Norton antivirus and it keeps popping up with email error boxes, when I click 'ok' it immediately pops another one up.

These emails are all addressed to 'UPS express services" I've never had anything to do with them.

This is just an example, all the error codes vary and so does the subject, the only constant is the 'From'line.

It looks like it is running through some kind of a list in the 'To' line because all the addresses sort of follow on from each other.

Please help

Just to let you know,I had to restart my machine because there was already malware bytes on it , then it would finish the install of the latest one.

The email popups seem to have gone away but I'll carry on doing what you said just in case there's still a beasty in there somewhere

Will post mbam scan log when it's finished scanning.

While that aswmbr thing is scanning could you tell me if I've got a separate problem or is it part of the same thing,

What's happening is , every time I download something I get this message popping up ; Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIWindowsRegKey.open]

and I've got to click on 'ok' before the download bubble thing will appear on my screen (the one with 'run or save this file).

is this bad ?

Let's run couple more scans and then we'll go back to your issue.

Download Temp File Cleaner (TFC)
Alternate download: http://www.itxassociates.com/OT-Tools/TFC.exe
Double click on TFC.exe to run the program.
Click on Start button to begin cleaning process.
TFC will close all running programs, and it may ask you to restart computer.

=============================================================================

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
  • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
  • Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Delete.
  • Confirm each time with Ok.
  • Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
  • Please post the contents of that logfile with your next reply.
  • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

Next...

  • Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Uninstall.
  • Confirm with yes.

=============================================================================

Please run a free online scan with the ESET Online Scanner

  • Disable your antivirus program
  • Tick the box next to YES, I accept the Terms of Use
  • Click Start
  • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
  • Check Scan archives
  • Click Start
  • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
  • When the scan completes, click on List of found threats
