hooking up digimerge 4202 video server

i have a digimerge 4202 video server,on box it says"supports IP address via router" in manual it says "assign static IP address from ISP"....anyone know if i can hook this thing up without getting a static ip,or should i just get one of those network IP camera from ebay and use that.I'm trying to find something so i can imbed camera view in my webpage,i bought an IP900 video server but anybody that views pic can alter parameters of system, THX, gary
