Received an update tonight for windows 7 that has been running for over an hour now... it is 1 of 1 update... it's either a very long update or the update is frozen. What do I do? I don't want to power down...

Hi rob2008,

The update is very likely the critical out of cycle Internet Explorer update.

If you haven't resolved this issue via Microsoft Update, you could try to download and install the file manually.

Regards,
Brooks
