I have set email notification on for an active thread, so I can read and respond quickly, but I did not get an email for the last few posts in the thread.

I have a gmail email address.

Any idea what is wrong?

I just saw I had the notification type Delayed Notification for that thread. I changed it now to immediate. I hope that works better.

Is the notification set to immediate or delayed? The delayed setting has major issues. Try unticking, logging out then log back in and set immediate. Hopefully that will work. I'll have the site owner check sent email logs in the interim to make sure they are being sent from the server. It might be a day or two before he can get to that, he has quite a full plate of forum tasks going already.

Not an excuse, but just a fact that Invison Power email notifications are notoriously unreliable, and have been for some time.

Even immediate e-mail notification isn't completely reliable.

Hard to get good forum software these days... ;)

I set it to immediate and I did get an email for both of the replies in this thread.
