Error Message: Assersion failed

Let me start by saying that I'm a neophite when it comes to issuses of anything other than turning the computer on. It appears to me that when a Microsoft update was installed it obviously changed something. I keep getting an error message that reads:

Debug tool
Asseresion failed:
(Resourse Manager::Is Initialized 0)
in .\IPC\IPC. cpp:23


This messaage appears every 2 mins. or so.
I have tried "restoring" the computer to an earlier date to no avail.

Anyone have a suggestion, Thanks in advance, Ben

List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs

Click Go and post the result.


Download

Autoruns

Extract and launch autoruns.exe

Allow the scan to get finished

Now click on FILE-SAVE

Filename:Autoruns.txt
Save as :Text

Paste the text contents here
