Let me start by saying that I'm a neophite when it comes to issuses of anything other than turning the computer on. It appears to me that when a Microsoft update was installed it obviously changed something. I keep getting an error message that reads:

Debug tool
Asseresion failed:
(Resourse Manager::Is Initialized 0)
in .\IPC\IPC. cpp:23

This messaage appears every 2 mins. or so.
I have tried "restoring" the computer to an earlier date to no avail.

Anyone have a suggestion, Thanks in advance, Ben
