I've decided to buy a new laptop but i have no idea what i need. I play the sims3 and own several expansions. My budget is 680ish and preferably not h.p,my last two laptops were h.p and around the 2 year mark something went wrong w.them. Basically here is kind of what i'm looking for: RAM:at least 8 because w.sims3 and expansions its about 2gb, Hard drive: 600 [no particular reason], Graphics card: on the box of the latest expansion it says 128 mb video card w.support for pixel shader 2.0 supported video cards:nvidia geforce 6 series or better, all nvidia g,gt,gts and gtx cards. Ati radeon series card 9500 or better. Dually noted that geforce 6100 or 7100 are not supported. Does anyone know of a laptop w.those specs?

lenovo IdeaPad Z585 (261728U) This has a quad core processor with integrated graphics that will easily play Sims 3.

You could try thisone, I know it is not quadcore but it should play the Sims 3 pretty well and with all the expansions. It is an used one, so you are getting refurbished prices - I know it is way under your budget, have you considered a refurbished gaming desktop or do you need a laptop? Good luck :)

Samsung is pretty good at making laptops despite being underrated.
