I want to change my user account from domain to local.
I checked online and the directions to do this conversion
seem complex (To me). Can someone help me with this task?

I had a remote desktop connection, FTP and VPN connection (Whatever).
This computer used to be my work computer and is now my home personal computer.

I am just trying to sever any possible link to my former employer.

I still notice that my "Log On to Windows" dialogue box contains
my former company name in the "Log on to:" entry area.

Thank you,
