Specs of infected machine:
Lenovo R61e Thinkpad laptop
OS Windows XP Professional
Current Security: Windows Firewall, Avast(Free edition)Regular Scans:Malwarebytes,SAS,Avast,TDSKiller,Pareto Logic,HitmanPro3.5
My Internet activity is High...but am cautious and knowledgable about safe and unsafe practices.

History: Computer was running great. No issues for 7-8 months. Noticed the redirect very quickly. And did the following things:
Opened Revo Unistaller noticed 3 programs that came thru in a CNET download that I missed downloading a internet TV program.

Ran level 4 un install with Revo...done. A few hours later the redirect was back. Ran Hijack this..found a fantastigames path in
RO and removed it.

Next day it was back?? Hijack this log shows no evidence. Scanned with Malwarebytes,SAS,Pareto, nothing appears.
Google search on it is leading me to untrusted and unknown sites.
Losing connectivity with internet at times and system is behaving strange...Need some advice?
One more thing...one google search site linked me with Wikimalware which gave manual directions on its removal
with Registry Editor and manual File deletion....Looked only found nothing??? Thx Rick

Hello, HJT is not that reliable any more..

Please go here....Preparation Guide ,do steps 6-9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9 which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic, thanks.
If GMER won't run (it may not on a 64 bit system) skip it and move on.

Let me know if that went well.
