crashing computer cause unknown

Hi guys, can you please help me to find out the reason why is my laptop crashing when playing games?I cant really play any games, coz Im scared to damage my hardware by holding the power button to shut down my pc. It is the only option when my pc crashes.I never see BSOD, it just stays black and sound is loud and scary.

My config is...win7sp1 ult 64bit(legit), i7 3.07 GHz,8GB RAM,500Gb HDD, 2x GeForce GTX485M in SLI

Try uninstalling...then reinstalling your video drivers.

Do you have the correct DirectX version installed for the games you are playing? In any case, you may want to try installing the most current version of DirectX supported by your O/S.
