Hi Old Buddies! I have a Verizon Wireless USB device on my PC for internet service. I'm locked into a contract. I have moved around some this past year and the connection was fine in a city but now I've moved to a rural area (again) and the connection is poor. I just got a popup today that said I would do better with a Hi-Speed USB device, such as Intel 1CH10 Family USB Enhanced Host Controller 3A3C or 3A3A. I would like an opinion and some further information. I put that in the search and I was confused with the results. I have a 64 bit Windows 7 on a Gateway SX2803. Can you help?

Sometimes rebooting computer, reinserting the USB device or changing port would cure the problem. But the network signal strength varies by location especially for USB network device.

Thanks, I'll try that. The wireless device is 4G but they don't have 4G here yet. The most bars I get are 2. I may need to pay to end my contract and get hard wired. :lmao:
