My mom got a newer computer so I fired up her old computer to get the items from aol favorite places. Most of the items are photos from emails. Not sure why we never placed them into a folder in my pictures. When I click on one of the items I get an error that pops up and kicks me off aol. The error reads Waol has caused an error in morg.dll. I managed to save the entire aol favorite places to a 1 gb flash drive.

The old computer is running Windows ME and has aol 7.0.
I think the newer one is running XP and has aol 8.0.

Here's some of the things I've tried:
I copied aol favorite places onto a flash drive and tried importing it to the newer computer but got a message saying favorite places only holds 2500 items and I needed to delete some items. I went back and for the heck of it deleted all the items except for maybe 20. It gave me the same message.
I have all the restore CDs to the old computer and was going to do a full restore and just import the favorite places back but I think the DVD drive has gone bad.

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows Vista which I believe has aol 9.6. Is there anyway I could import to that computer or is there a fix for this waol error?

I found some info on other website, hopefully it helps.

'According to your post here you are running AOL 7.0 under Windows ME.

AOL 7.0, released in October 2001, hasn't been the latest supported client for about 10 years, so you may be better off installing the most recent update client for Windows 98SE, Windows ME, and Windows 2000, which is AOL 9.0 VR.

AOL routinely releases updates to their software in the UTF format, and it's likely they haven't released any new ones for AOL 7.0 in quite a long time.

You can install the 8-year-old AOL 9.0 VR, but keep in mind this client relies on Internet Explorer 6.0, which itself is 10 years old, so you are likely to run into many issues viewing modern websites unless you disable Adobe Flash Player and JavaScript.

AOL 9.0 VR: http://daol.aol.com/software/90vr

Direct download: http://download.newaol.com/clients/bush/waol/0.4327.271.1/roadie1.6.14.2/AOLDNLD.exe

Best of luck.
