Ok so this morning I woke up to find my laptop was active and I was worried it might overheat now the past few days it has been doing and I did some research, and I am wondering should I make it so that tasks can't wake the machine up?

Hi -

Personally, I would disable Hibernate function >> Microsoft Directions << and see if you can live with this for a while
You can refer back to this same tutorial if you wish to enable it again - See if this solves the wake-up problem :)

Thank You -

I think there may be a setting in bois to say that only the on button will wake it up or you could just shut the machine down
