Hello
I am wanting to make a bootable CD to upgrade the BIOS on an old HP desktop. I have a burning progarm (Easy Creator 2010) and I have the update file. What I need is to make the CD bootable. I tried something called dr_dos-img-7.03.zip but I could not get it to work.

I hope you can help me.
TIA
Gary

Various ways to create bootable discs.

How to make bootable CD with NERO eHow.com - http://www.ehow.com/how_2000533_make-bootable-cd-nero.html

Actually...that should be one of the menu options on whatever software you are using. If not, try the Help menus for making a bootable disc.

I would use MagicISO, but that's because I have it and it's an excellent program for many other things too. Instructions for using it to make a disk bootable here.

Another good program is Imgburn.

A good tutorial can be found here.
