I have a Dell Optiplex GX260 motherboard with 512mb RAM, i would ideally like to upgrade this to 2GB using 2 1GB sticks. Anyone know of any compatible RAM, user or new, cheap as possible (from ebay maybe).

Struggling to find compatible RAM, i live in the UK.

HERE is your motherboard specs, look under Memory section, to find compatible RAM, which you can purchase from NEWEGG

They are currently out of stock of the 1GB stick, but you are looking for DDR 266 (PC2100) RAM.

Perhaps you can find it on another site.

Check out Pricewatch. Saw some PC2100 1GB sticks there for under eight dollars.
