Hi everyone... i've inherited a friend's computer and it LOOKED 100% in working order, but i'm running across an infuriating problem. Every time i try to use windows update, i get a code 80072F8F error. It just can't connect. I had microsoft essential anti-virus installed, and every time i would try to update that, it coudln't connect. i can't even get the computer's clock to sync with the internet time server... it can't connect. but obviously, i have no problem getting on the internet and surfing websites... what gives? :(

Your time settings on PC are correct?

"Helpdesk: There is an icon on your computer labeled "My Computer". Double click on it.
User: What's your computer doing on mine?"
