I am looking for something to boost the wifi in my room. I used speedtest to test the download/upload speeds. In my hallway right outside my room is about 19Mbps/12Mbps, while inside my room can range 6Mbps/2Mbps to 12Mbps/6Mbps depending on where I am inside my room (far corner is the worst).

Is there something I can use to boost the wifi? I can't attach anything to the router, as it is public, but I can put some device in my hallway.
