Apple Device IDs and various other choice bits of personal data were found in a list on an FBI laptop that was breached in March this year. This list contained a LOT of information about each device, including full names, mobile numbers, addresses, and all kinds of other personal tracking data from the devices. Today, AntiSec group released 1 million of those. Peter Kruse, an eCrime specialist working with CSIS Security Group A/S in Denmark tweeted about finding 3 of his iDevices on the list.

More Apple security fail? Or have they willingly given access to the FBI to this information? Interesting.... I don't own iDevices, but a lot of folks do. I certainly wouldn't want my data in a list in anyone's hands.... This ain't good folks.

Edited to add link to pastebin of release (which has a lot of blablabla about the motives):

Not entirely unsurprisingly the FBI denies all association with the leak: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/09/04/feds_deny_antisec_claims/

Now whether this is because they're really not involved or because they're trying to cover their behind, you have to decide for yourself.
