Hi, I've just been infected with Live Security Platinum, I've managed to remove it with MalwareBytes, however, my MSS and windows firewall are disable and I can't seem to re-enable them, can someone point me in the right direction?

As part of the removal proces I installed Spy Hunter 4, this now seems to have hi-jacked my Pc in that I can no longer go to www.microsoft.com, and if I search for MSE download from microsoft, it takes me to the spy hunter 4 website or gives me a 404.

You are still infected.

Please go here....Preparation Guide ,do steps 6-9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9 which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic, thanks.
If GMER won't run (it may not on a 64 bit system) skip it and move on.

Let me know if that went well.
