Computer running slow and screen gets dark

Help! My computer is going slow, I'm not 100% positive what the issue is but I've been hearing it might have to do with me updating drivers, I try that though and my computer appears to be up to date (I'm not very good at this stuff though). In addition, it seems to be going a lot slower then when I first got it and it's less than 2 years old. In addition, my screen goes very dark when playing video games (but not completely black). All help is appreciated!
