Dear Bleepingcomputer.com,

I recently purchased a Lenovo Y580 laptop, and though it is new, I was unable to update certain a certain Window update. Though the installation for the updates were successful, it ended up not configuring and reverting changes. However, I was able to deselect some updates again, and install smoothly. The ones that I did not update, were "Recommended", and not "Important".

Is it important for me to download the recommended updates?
If so, how do I make sure Windows Update will "configure" them?
