Changing Windows Security Box To Task Manager

Hi everyone im a new member here, i am having a problem with pressing ctrl alt del. it brings up the windows security dialog box but before it used to bring up the task manager. ive had this problem last year and fixed it forgot how to fix it. Can anyone help. Thanks

Are you using XP, XP Pro, or 2000? If you don't see a "Task Manager" button, it may have been disabled.

Pressing ctrl/alt/del should bring up the task manager in Win 2 k and XP.

You may be able to find the fix here:

If the problem is fairly recent, use the System Restore and choose a date before the problem began.
