seagate Barracuda not respond

The PC was very slow on rebote a black screen followed by chkdsk recomend to check for consistance and computer wond start.

While access the BIOS it detecting the drive, when going to windows it ask to run CHKDSK. the message is Window did not locate the file.
please advise

jhayz above post a link to the hard drive diagnostic tool he wanted you to download and use to check your drive for errors
