Hi

Can anyone tell me how I might be able to convert text and images files with a bci extension into more readily readable formats

Cheers

If you refer to Beloc Advisor, you can copy it into a word processor. It is readable, but you might have to do some minor formatting to make it look better.

John

Thanks for the reply, but my BCI files are not from Beloc Advisor, they are files backed up in a data recovery from an unreadable cd, and take the format "file.WPC.BCI" or "file.jpg.BCI" I have used Google to search the web for a conversion program/utility but without success; any other suggestions??

Cheers

Hi solon.
Ilooked at this post yesterday and like jgweed, assumed it was a Belarc file because of the .BCI file extension. Without knowing what application was used to create these "backups", it's nearly impossible to help you. Do you know what program created these backups?

Solon,

Like HitSquad said without knowing what program or app created the .BCI files we are really guessing. But I can tell you that since it's likely not Belarc with .jpg.BCI files. It is a "Batch Compiler" app or program, that created these. And likely they are unreadable because you don't have the source app, or compatible reader.
