I'm using Windows Vista, SP2. I haven't used the Windows Update since June and it just occurred to me that I should probably see if there are any updates. I clicked the button to "check for updates" and it fails and then gives me this error message: Code 80096001.

Somehow it got past the point of checking for updates and it now says that there are 4 updates ready to install. However, when I try to install the updates, I keep receiving the same error code. Can anybody help me?
