Working on a computer i was trying to update windows. The update ran through the night and when i awoke i found a BSOD stating there was no good mountable storage or something like that. I removed the HDD from the laptop and plugged it in via an external enclosure. Disk is recognized but wont allow access. tried to right click, properties, tools, check disk for errors but windows says it cannot access the drive.
