I have been searching this space for years and have always found good advice from friendly folk.

My 1st computer was a Commodore 64 and I did learn basic at the time. Many years passed before i got back into computers with an Atari 520ST which I stuck with as a mere user until someone gave me a IBM 386 with microchannel memory. I slowly climbed the PC ladder to my current system Velocity Micro gaming box running Windows 7. My current skill level is intermediate builder/troubleshooter but because of my lack of formal knowledge... I tend to only repair and build for myself and close friend with clearly stated parameters. I have know problem telling folk they need to go to a professional.

Not much else to me as far a PC knowledge.

Nice to finally say HI!
