I am facing a problem while installing Skype on Ubuntu. Everytime i try to install it, it stops the process with an error "Try again". this error ocurs each time I try to install it. can anyone help me in solving this problem. your suggetions are highly appreciated.

What Ubuntu version are you trying to install on? Did you uninstall a previous version of Skype before attempting to install 4.0 ?

I only use Skype for telephoning. No video or IM.
I've had a GE Skype portable phone for a year now and it works very well. It
connects to the internet without the use of a computer. I do find using the
computer to set up settings for Skype portable phone in the computer handier than using the phone
controls.
One setting I found very useful is only allowing those in your phone book to call you.
