I ran combo fix, and everything was working fine until the message which stated that Combo fix was going to reboot my computer, with a warning that I should not manually reboot. That was three hours ago. All that has happened is that the icons on my desktop have disappeared. No reboot, no nothing. What should I do? In case its important, I am running Windows 7.

Hello.

In this case you're going to have to do a manual shutdown and hope for the best.

This is a prime example of why we ask people not to run ComboFix unattended.

Let us know what happens.
