Hello,
I have a dell PC running Windows7 64 bit operating system. After being infected by the FBI moneypak virus (removed by doing system restore and running various malware scans and removals) I rebooted my computer to find my internet connection disabled. When troubleshoot is run I get message windows can't communicate with device or resource (primar DNS server).

Under Networking properties Internet Protocol Version 6 and 4 are both checked.

Also try pinging Default gateway and get request timed out. Try to ping DNS servers and get request timed out. Default gateway ping comes back ok.

I am able to accesss internet in Windows Safe Mode.

I hope I posted this in the right spot. Thanks for the help! Jotfarmer

I too am experiencing a loss of internet connection today. My desktop computer suddenly has only limited connectivity and doesn't see my Gateway. I have only local access. So far, I can't figure out what has happened. Everything was working last night.
