I have a SONY VAIO that's about 8 months old. I recently installed Outlook.
I woke up a few days ago and the computer prompted me to run recovery. I first transferred everything to a USB drive (even though nothing saved) and then ran recovery over several hours.
I had to reinstall everything from Office 2007 and now, my computer is very slow.
I am not sure what to do next, and I am afraid to do anything else short of bringing my computer in to tech support, even though I do not want to be without a computer for a few days.
Any guidance would please be very appreciated.

If the computer is still under warranty as I suspect it is, you should either talk to a representative of the store where you purchased it or contact Sony to discuss the problem with them.
