I have a Toshiba Satellite L305 and the built in keyboard wont work. Able to use a USB keyboard and the screen-keyboard. Persistent light below F10 and F11 keys.

You've tried uninstalling the keyboard/touchpad drivers...then rebooting the system?

Start/Run...type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter. Scroll down to Keyboards and mice & Other Pointing Devices...right-click the device, Uninstall.

Sorry, I should have specified I tried that. I have also visited the Toshiba site and found others with same problem and they have gotten no solutions yet.
