Hi Gang

I have 2 fairly new DVD players, (Internal) on my one computer, they stopped working. Neither would play any CD/DVD I put in them. They both stopped working at the same time. I used them one day they played fine next time I went to use them no dice. They are ok they have their letters assigned to them, they show up in the device manager ok.

So what could be common to both of them, I am sure they are mechanically ok. Any suggestions.? Also I thought maybe the codecs were messed up so I downloaded that VLC video player the free one, and they were ok for a couple of days, they they stopped working again.
