When I load up a game on my PC, sometimes after a while it'll make weird static sounds from my speakers or headphones, and then it'll make the game have very annoying FPS issues. It'll drop from 80 on the screen to something that looks like 2x. The second I restart the game it goes everything goes back to normal and it won't do that again. This only happens after playing the game for about 3 hours. It never used to do that, but as of recent I've seem to have those issues.

Any idea why this may be happening?

Some of my specs are:

CPU: i5 2500k
GPU: GTX 560 TI
PSupply: 700 W
Ram: 8 Gigs
