hello. i know that all things PATA, or IDE, are old school. My question is... How are PATA ssd drives? Are they faster than typical hard drives? I have two laptops. One takea PATA drives. The other tskes SATA. I wanna put ssd drives in both. I know the laptop which takes SATA is newer, and faster. I just wanna know if the other one will be significantly better with a ssd in it.

Thanks in advance for any replies...

At almost $80 for a 32GB IDE SSD I wouldn't spend the money!
