how come I can't find keyboard shortcuts for windows 7

Have you checked the help guide? I don't have Windows 7 to verify where it is. There is also this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/keyboard-shortcuts/

For Windows 7 Help press the Help key, which should be F1.

When Help opens type in Keyboard Shortcuts. Click the magnifying glass.
