I had pricegong on a computer but I think I have removed most of the components. I believe there is still something on the computer because when I open Internet Explorer it just brings up a blank screen and freezes. The system is XP Professional.

Edit: Moved topic from Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs to the more appropriate forum, due to the lack of any malware logs included in the topic. ~ Animal

How To Uninstall PriceGong? How to uninstall PriceGong instructions.
The page explains the ways to remove PriceGong, when it's a standalone installation or a toolbar installation.
The people at PriceGong do leave directions for removal from Internet Explorer and Firefox if you no longer want it -
EDIT -
Most of this can be done in Safe Mode with Networking -
If you wish to post in Malware Removal area, you need to generate some of the requested logs. You will need a USB stick if you are not able to post them directly from your problem computer.

Ok, close this. I'm going to post in the malware forum again. I've rerun some scans and still have an issue with malware.
