I've compiled a list of free, verified, and tested online spyware / malware / virus scanners.

Hey Nist, very nice list and a great site by the looks of things. One thing you might want to add to the list is http://virusscan.jotti.org/ - similar to virus total but is most certainly a reputable site.

You will find that all of them require you to use Internet Explorer

Actually Housecall Scan for Firefox is availale here:

And I would include Kaspersky Webscan in your list:

Although Kaspersky does not clean, I have found it to identify malware that some of the other online scanners do not.

Actually Housecall Scan for Firefox is availale here

I had tried to test the Europe version of Housecall for this review but wasn't able to get it to work. I've tried Firefox 1.07 and It first comes up with a Java error and then just never completes downloading the applet.

I've added Kaspersky Webscan and the Jotti file scanner. Thank you quietman7 and D-Trojanator. I also added the AV-Comparatives site. They do a good job of testing anti-virus applications.
