Windows XP SP3, ISP=AtlanticBB , When I request certain sites instead of bringing up the requested site the computer hangs forever trying to connect to: Atlantic Broadband Finance.

I can get around it by using a proxy but when I do get to the site I want to visit, I cannot do anything while using the proxy.

How can I stop the detour to my ISP site?? Atlantic Financial is blocked in my firewall because I do no business with Atlantic Financial. I pay them to provide access to where I want to go, not to where they want me to go. Some sites are useless. All newspaper sites for instance. Thanks for reading.

Those questions...sound like they should be directed to your ISP, IMO.
