I unistalled malwarebytes from my pc and now I am getting the following "run-time-error 53, file not found mbam" How do I get rid of that plz?

Did you also run the MBAM clean.exe after First uninstalling from Programs and Features ??
This utility will ask to reboot your computer (please allow it to) -

Yes, I did to fix another error. After restarting my computer it gave me the error in 1st post. Any ideas what I can do now, plz?

Hi bruinator,

Try re-installing the program, update it, then do an uninstall through the>> control panel>>add remove program..

Post back and let us know if this solved the problem for you.

Reinstalling and uninstalling is a best option as suggested by a_cup.

Download

Autoruns

Extract and launch autoruns.exe

Allow the scan to get finished

Uncheck malwarebytes entries from startup.

You can uncheck the entries using MSCONFIG too if you see one.

I had to uncheck entry in msconfig of mbam to solve it.
